Every food we sell starts with where it grows. For makhana, that is the ponds of Bihar. Makhana is harvested from Bihar's ponds by farmers who have done this work for generations. We buy from them directly, then grade and pack it in Bihar.

How long does delivery take?

Is there a shipping charge?
Any shipping charge is shown with the pack you choose, before you add it to the cart, and again at checkout before you pay.
What does "suta" mean?
Suta is the traditional Bihar measure of makhana size. A higher number means a bigger pop: our Regular Mix is 4 & 5 Suta, Kosi Heritage is 5+, Rajsi Royale 6+ and Makhana Republic 7 Suta export quality.
How should I store makhana?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and sunlight. Once opened, store it in an airtight container so it stays crunchy.
